The Macon County Fairgrounds hosts one of the oldest agricultural fairs in North Carolina, dating back to 1955. The fair offers a variety of family-friendly events, including livestock shows, crafts, and local food vendors, making it a premier attraction for residents and visitors alike. Join us to celebrate community, tradition, and fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
Educational Booths: A great way to let the community know about your organization, church or any group. Educational booths shall not be manned. Hand distribution of literature is not permitted. Appropriate literature may be placed in your booth for pick-up.
Commercial Booths: Commercial booths must be manned during the hours of the fair. All commercial booths should be entered and set up by Tuesday, September 22 by 9:00pm. See Fair Catalog for all rules.
Demonstration Booths: Demonstration booths mean that there will be demonstrating of products at the booth.
Livestock (Showing an animal) Registration:
(ALL ANIMAL registrations are DUE August 1st by 11:59 pm. The registration link will close after that.)
Entries into the Fair: Enter your prized Art & Photography, Baked Goods, Best Cake Contest, Clothing, Crafts, Farm Products, Flowers, Food Preservation items, Honey, Quilting, Needlecraft, Handweaving & Spinning items, Poultry , Rabbits and Youth into the fair this year. We look forward to seeing all the Blue, Red and White Ribbons displayed on everyone's entries this year.
Note: The fair should not be used as a political platform. Promoting, advertising or endorsement of candidates is not allowed. No controversial issues are allowed.
